Our beloved Mart, born in Viljandi, Estonia on November 9, 1935 died peacefully on May 6, 2008 with his wife Margot by his side. Predeceased by his father Arnold and mother Axella. He leaves behind his wife Margot, his children Maia (Steve), Andrew (Jessica) and granddaughter Bella, his sister Eva Allan (Patrick) and nieces Amber and Larissa. He will also be missed by the mother of his children, Andrea Kiss and his dear friends.

Mart enjoyed a lengthy career with IBM and retired in 1992. The family would like to express its gratitude to Dr. Joseph Connors of the BC Cancer Agency for his respectful care throughout Mart's lengthy illness. A celebration of Mart's life will be held at St. Peters Estonian Lutheran Church (49th and Oak) on Tuesday May 13, at 11:00 a.m.
